POLICE are hunting the people responsible for two Christmas crimes that showed a notable lack of seasonal good will.

Overnight from December 23 to 24, someone broke into a car parked on Julian Road and stole a large bag of Christmas presents.

Police say someone was seen in the area at around 4am, and are asking members of the public with information, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously to please contact them.

The following night, Christmas eve, saw further trouble when the large front window of a property on Exeter Road was smashed, causing £800 worth of damage.

The incident happened at around midnight, and is being linked to a group of people that were seen by the building. Ivybridge police said that the man or boy that caused the damage was wearing a green check shirt with black jacket, and the group also had a young child with them of around eight years old.
