Conservative candidate Roger Croad has won the Ivybridge division in the Devon County Council elections.

The full result was as follows:

CROAD Roger Frederick, The Conservative Party Candidate, 1,751 votes, 55.7%.

REA Tony, Labour Party, 852 votes, 27.1%.

LAWFORD Laurel, Liberal Democrat, 190 votes, 6.0%.

ROSS Ian, UK Independence Party, 186 votes, 5.9%.

PICTON Phil, Green Party, 163 votes, 5.2%.

There was a 35 per cent turnout and the total number of votes cast was 3,145.
