Ivybridge (18 points) beat South Devon (seven) by 25 runs

Captain Jeewan De Silva led from the front once again for Ivy­bridge, hitting a brilliant 88 not out as the home side posted 223-7.

He was well supported by Harry Solomon, who hit 28, but extras were surprisingly second highest with 41.

South Devon made a decent fist of their reply, but 3-24 from that man De Silva meant they fell 25 runs short of their target.

Ivybridge hope to continue their good form when they welcome Plymstock tomorrow.
