Ivybridge A went top of division one of the Totnes and District Snooker League with a comfortable 5-1 home victory over struggling Totnes.

Mark Hembry remains unbeaten this season for the defending champions, with Jamie Palmer picking up the sole point for Totnes.

Early leaders Regal went down 4-2 at home to visiting Ivybridge B. Ryan Colmer and Mark Tomlinson picked up two frames each for Ivybridge, the latter recording a break of 36 in the process.

Dartmouth picked up their first win of the season away at Woodlands thanks to two wins from Dave Nicholls as the visitors triumphed 4-2.

Halwell H picked up their first points of the season as they drew 3-3 with Halwell B.

Stephen Archer won both his frames for the hosts as they moved off the bottom of the table. Charlie Kneil continued his impressive start to the season for Halwell B with another two wins.

Halwell C increased their lead at the top of division two to three points as they picked up their third successive 4-2 win at home to Mill A.

Kevin Wreyford won both frames for the hosts. A whitewash looked on the cards as Halwell went 4-0 up, but Mill battled back to pick up two points and stay off the foot of the table.

Mill C could only manage a 3-3 draw with Diptford and lost ground on the leaders. Luke Beard maintained his 100 per cent record this season with another two wins for Mill.

Halwell K finally got their season under way at home to Halwell G. Sadly they couldn’t manage to start with a win and went down 4-2, Geoff Holt doing the damage for the visitors with two victories.
