ST John’s Church in Ivybridge is marking the season with its very first Christmas Tree Festival.

Lots of people turned out to see the trees when they went up for the first weekend in December, and the display has continued to delight churchgoers since.

21 businesses and organisations, as well as individuals have contributed to the various trees, which will be on display up to and including Christmas.

St John’s also has a range of Christmas services on offer this year, starting with a crib service at 4pm on Christmas Eve, with refreshments in the Church Hall from 2pm. This is followed at 11pm by the midnight service, before a family communion service on Christmas Day morning at 10.30am.
