Dame Hannahs will be welcoming the festive season with three Christmas events at its Ivybridge site, including its annual Christmas Fayre and a new wreath-making workshop.

The charity’s Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday, November 14, followed by a festive bingo night on Friday, December 4, and its first-ever Christmas Wreath-Making Workshop on Thursday, December 10.

The annual fayre will feature a variety of stalls selling gifts and seasonal treats, alongside food and refreshments available throughout the day.

Entry is free, making it an opportunity for local people to get into the Christmas spirit while supporting the charity.

For those looking to get creative, the new wreath-making workshop will be led by Nicky from Mrs B-R’s Craft Station, who will guide participants through making their own Christmas wreath to take home.

All materials will be provided, and Dame Hannahs Kitchen will be open to serve festive refreshments.

Tickets need to be booked beforehand through the Dame Hannahs website.

Rachael Koka, from the Dame Hannahs fundraising team, said: “Dame Hannahs is such a wonderful place to be all year round, but especially at Christmas time. We are so excited to share some of our Christmas magic with the local community through our upcoming events.

“Whether it’s a family day out at our Christmas Fayre; an evening with friends making your Christmas wreath, or a festive game of Bingo in December – there is something for everyone, and all while raising vital funds for our amazing charity!”

Based in Ivybridge, Dame Hannahs provides learning, care and support for adults with a range of disabilities, helping them to develop skills, build confidence and live as independently as possible.
