A PRIMARY school says it is delighted to be awarded the Gold School Games Mark for the third year running.
Stowford School in Ivybridge once again scooped the top award in the scheme, which was launched in 2012.
The School Games Mark rewards institutions for their commitment to providing and developing competition, both in the school and the wider community.
Pupils learn qualities like aspiring to improve and challenge themselves, setting realistic goals, sportsmanship and respect for others.
PE teacher Sharon Key said ’I was thrilled to receive the award on behalf of Stowford School. It shows how much the children enjoy competing and are proud to represent their school.’
