THINGS took a spooky turn at Glanvilles Mill shopping centre on Saturday afternoon as witches, monsters and ghosts gathered to be judged.

The reason was the team fancy dress competition and pumpkin carving contest organised by Ivybridge Chamber of Commerce, and supported by local businesses and the Ivybridge Theatre Company.

At stake was a £100 prize to be given to a charity of the winning team’s choice, kindly donated by Colourbridge SW Printers.

A frighteningly fun time was had by all and the top prize was claimed by the team from Revelations Hair Studio, who nominated Macmillan Cancer Support to receive the money.
