IVYBRIDGE Theatre Company will soon be treading the boards at the Watermark.

They will be performing a comedy double bill featuring two short plays from very different eras.

A Mad Breakfast by Isabel McReynolds Gray is set in the dining room of a 1950s boarding house, with various guests arriving for breakfast. Misconceptions abound and hilarity ensues as chaos tops confusion, soon causing one of the new guests to fear for their life. Who knew breakfast could be so entertaining?

A Jolly Sinister Jape by Elliot Strange is a madcap comedy, set in the 1920s, with a liberal sprinkling of hilarious period slang, along with mystery and thrills.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a mystery without a large house on a stormy night.

Performances are on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale from the Watermark box office, by telephoning 01752 892220.
