LAND with planning permission for two detached homes just off Ivybridge’s main street has been sold by auctioneers for £65,000.
The Plum Tree Court site at the rear of 44 Fore Street was among the lots sold in their November sale by Westcountry auctioneers Clive Emson.
The firm’s Graham Barton, of TV’s Homes Under the Hammer fame, said: ’This site was perfect for the right buyer, with planning consent for a pair of executive family residences.
’The new owner may wish to follow this scheme or even follow an alternative development scheme subject to the necessary consents.
’Located in a vibrant town on the edge of Dartmoor, the plot offers the ideal opportunity for an attractive development or project.’
The site was auctioned jointly with Millington Tunicliff of Ivybridge.
