Devon & Cornwall Police have announced that Sophie Heard, 16, who had been reported missing from the Kingsbridge area has been found safe by police.

Ms Heard had been missing since around 11pm on Wednesday, May 20 and searches were carried out in Falmouth, Cornwall.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: “We would like to thank members of the public for their help.”
