AN Ivybridge charity shop has said goodbye to two loyal volunteers who have served for a total of 31 years.

Staff at the Hannahs shop in Ivybridge recently bade farewell to Jean Sanders and Margaret Ewers.

Jean had worked in the shop for 26 years and Margaret for five years, and the pair were given a big send off by Hannahs’ head of retail Daniel Burke and shop manager Sue Brown.

Daniel said: ‘I would like to say a huge thank you to both Jean and Margaret for their loyalty and hard work during their time with us.

‘Jean for her amazing 26 years and Margaret for her five years.

‘We are all very sad to see them go and wish them all the best for the future.’
