A dentist and dad is taking on the London marathon this month to raise money for a unique Plymouth charity.

Peter Reville, an Ivybridge dentist and father to Ben, eight and Alice, five has taken on the challenge of running the London Marathon in April.

Peter has chosen to raise money for Trevi House, a unique rehabilitation centre that supports women overcoming addictions while enabling them to keep their children and babies with them. Although he keeps fit by going to the gym, running and cycling, Peter has never run a marathon and is training hard to ensure he makes it around the course in one piece.

He said: “I am proud to be running for Trevi House and hope to raise lots of money for this valuable service. I visited Trevi the other day and it was clear to see the passion the staff have to help the mothers turn their lives around for the better.”
