Ivybridge Rainbows enjoyed all the fun of the circus at their annual sleepover.

Girls aged five to seven took part in a circus themed residential with activities such as making clown face biscuits, having a go at circus skills, designing a clown costume, pinning the nose on the clown and taking part in a circus treasure hunt.

They also made nightlights and had a campfire in the evening. Unit leader Sue Fricker said: 'We all had a great time. For some girls this was their first time away from home and they all had so much fun. 'There are currently three Rainbows units in Ivybridge.'
