We would like to thank Paul Manktelow’s friends and ­neighbours in Kingsbridge who have given him so much support during his time fighting serious illness.

Especially his next door neighbours Val and Dan, who have cooked many Sunday roasts; Fiona, who has taken him to many hospital appointments; and Rachel, whose ­visits, general support and help early in his illness made a big difference.

We would also like to ­mention Gerald, Vera, Jo, Andy, Patsy, Vi, Barbara, Rob, Susan, Pete and so many ­others.

You will never know how much your support meant to him and his family – thank you to each and every one of you.
