CROWDS flocked to Ivybridge at the weekend to look at the nearly one hundred classic and vintage cars being displayed by Devon Vintage Car Club.
Sunday saw club members and supporters gathering at the car park at Endsleigh Wyevale Garden Centre with their cars, and welcoming the public who enjoyed a trip down memory lane.
At midday, members left Endsleigh for their traditional St Georges Day treasure hunt drive through the countryside, with much waving and tooting of horns to cheer them on. Drs Ann and Mike Oakins, who organised the event, were delighted with the response of both the public and the car owners, and thanked all those who supported the event.
Money raised will be shared between DVCC’s annual charity, and the garden centre’s charity, Marie Curie.
