MEMBERS of a local WI group have made a generous donation that will help a charity send a little festive cheer to those in need around the world.

Erme WI women were delighted to be able to hand over gifts to the charity Samaritan’s Purse, which sends Christmas boxes to children of all ages, wherever they are needed in the world.

Jenny Freeborn from the charity visited Ivybridge to collect the donations of presents, warm clothes and wrapping paper, handed over by Erme WI committee members.
