Ivybridge Town will be chasing their second win of the season when they welcome Tavi­stock to Erme Valley for a 3pm kick-off tomorrow afternoon.

A win would see them leapfrog their opponents, who currently sit one place above them in 13th in the table.

The Bridgers were rewarded for their long trip down to Newquay last Saturday with a valuable point from a 2-2 draw, though it could have been even better for the visitors as they twice held the lead before the Peppermints fought back.

Ivybridge took the lead 15 minutes in when Todd Hanrahan made no mistake with a penalty, and for a long time it looked as if this would be enough for the visitors in a fractious affair.

However, with fewer than 10 minutes left to play, Newquay pulled level.

The Bridgers would again have assumed the three points were theirs when Phil Bromhead bundled home with 90 minutes on the clcok, but the home side refused to lie down and got an injury-time equaliser.
