Wrangaton Golf Club

The glorious weather continues, as does the success of the Wrangaton ladies!

Wendy Roberts came first in the individual part of a team event at Woodbury Park with 40 points.

Stevie Foster came fourth at Yelverton in the county silver competition played earlier this month. Kim Flook and Mary Shepherd came third at Teign Valley in a charity event.

Wednesday, August 1, means presentation week and cake. Celia Ralph and Margaret Smith received the foursomes cup, and Wendy Roberts received the Medal Salver played on Wednesday (at Wrangaton), having scored a net 71. Kim Flook came second with a net 73. Kim Flook finally received her MacMillan Spoon from some months ago!

The ladies are looking forward to the three ball better ball next week, and are assuming and hoping that the fine weather will hold.

The ladies have inaugurated a nine-hole competition on Wednesday mornings. In first place was Angela Muxworthy with 18 stableford points and in second place was Mo Taylor with 17 points.
