A South Hams man has been charged with a series of offences, including having sex with a girl under 16.

Jay Hubbard, 25, of Chestnut Grove, Dartmouth, is alleged to have had sex with the girl on two occasions, in April and May 2017.

Hubbard is also alleged to have committed a sex act on a woman without her consent in May last year.

He is also charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order imposed by magistrates in November 2017 by communicating with a girl under 16 between July 16 and August 2 last year; and using social media without notifying his police offender manager, between July 2018 and January this year.

When Hubbard appeared before magistrates at Plymouth last month, he was remanded in custody to appear at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday, March 14.
