Children at Woodlands Park Primary School got creative for World Book Day this year.

Youngsters arrived at school dressed as their favourite characters from story books including Paddington Bear, Little Red Riding Hood, Batman and many others.

At the end of the day the children and their parents attended an event with an opportunity to buy favourite stories, which raised more than £600 to be put towards books for the school.
