Heavy persistent rain and a high tide of 4.2 metres (according to tide-forecast.com)at 6.45pm has caused flooding throughout Kingsbridge this evening (October 20).

Diversions were still in place at the bottom of Church Street next to the Kings Of Prussia at around 7.40pm.

Flooding around Boots and the bus station had started to recede as the tide goes out (7.20pm), but drivers are urged to use caution in and out of town.

Mill street is flooded all the way to Pizza Planet and there is still partial flooding by the Old Quay Pub at the Bottom of Fore Street.
