I and many others are ­concerned about the disproportionate size of the proposed development to the west of Belle Hill.

The potential increase in ­traffic has already been ­highlighted by a previous correspondent and the road is inadequate. There is no room for a footpath.

Only one vehicular access to the estate is proposed and this at the apex of the hill, just after a corner.

Lives will be risked if people attempt to walk down the road to the school. I believe there has been one fatality recorded.
