BRENT Island Trust will have its annual Christmas stall in the centre of the village this Saturday.

The festive event will also feature carol singing, and is the trust’s main fundraising event of the year.

It takes place from 10am to noon on Saturday, December 5, and all are welcome to come along, support the trust, and get into the Christmas spirit. Look out for presents and cakes, try your luck in the adults’ and children’s tombolas, and join in with some favourite seasonal melodies.

The trust looks after a three-acre area of meadow and woodland, surrounded by the river Avon, that was bought through a public appeal in 1994.
