A ROYAL marine will make a whistle stop tour of the South Hams coast as he attempts a new record for an astonishing feat of endurance.
Baz Gray set off from Minehead at 6am on Monday morning, aiming to run the entire South West Coast Path in just ten days.
Baz and his team hope that by covering 63 miles a day, he will beat the existing record of 11 days and eight hours. The plan is to reach South Haven Point, the end of the famous walking route, at around 8pm next Wednesday, May 4.
Baz and his support team on the attempt, named Solo 630, hope that as many people as possible will turn out to cheer him on or accompany him for parts of the run.
