LOCAL musicians will be performing together for Water Aid in a ‘sing for water’ event in South Brent.

Skylark Harmony, Kids Folk from the Oak and Viva women’s choir will be performing at the Old School Centre on Saturday, May 21.

Viva women’s choir, led by Roz Walker, will be singing beautiful and stirring unaccompanied songs from around the world.

Kids Folk from the Oak is a group of youngsters who meet regularly at the Oak in South Brent - they are a talented bunch who will be singing and performing folk music on fiddles, guitars, flutes and cello.

Skylark Harmony perform bluesy renditions of American old-time, bluegrass, and contemporary songs on fiddle, flute, guitar, piano, mandolin, percussion with three-part harmony singing.

The event will take place at the Old School Centre in South Brent, on Saturday, May 21 at 7.30pm.
