New and revised services, improved connections and timetable changes will be introduced across the South Hams Stagecoach routes from Sunday August 30.

A package of changes to bus services will take effect with the aim of improving reliability and punctuality, responding to changing customer demand.

The changes include new and amended routes, revised frequencies, seasonal timetable changes, with a small number of services replaced by alternative services.

Customers are advised to check the new timetable before travelling, particularly where routes are changing or services are being withdrawn.

Service 110 – Marldon – Totnes

The route will be amended to serve Foxhole and avoid Kings Ash Road with the Kings Ash House stop will no longer be served.

Marldon Road, Smallcombe Road and Foxhole Road will be served instead, improving access and reliability.

The route changes provide better access to the service and will improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 3 – Plymouth – Dartmouth via Kingsbridge

Timetable changes will improve reliability and punctuality, which reflect the route change introduced earlier in 2026.

Service 3 will operate from Plymouth to Dartmouth via Kingsbridge, replacing Service 93 between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Service 4 – City Centre – Plympton via Plymstock Broadway and Sherford

The route in Sherford will be amended to serve more of the new housing development.

After Sherford School, buses will continue along Hercules Road towards Plympton, turn right into Equinox Drive and serve Vortex Road, Dusk Avenue, Dewpoint Way, Nimbus Road and Equinox Drive, before returning to Hercules Road.

The loop will operate in both directions.

Service 80 – Plymouth – Paignton via Totnes

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality, including accommodating connections with Duchy College services.

Service 81 – South Devon College – Kingsbridge

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality.

1730 Monday to Friday College Days Only journey from Totnes to Kingsbridge will be re-timed from 5.30pm to depart 10 minutes later at 5.40pm.

Service 90 – Dartmouth – Townstal

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality.

Evening journeys will not serve Park and Ride and instead serve Sainsburys as per daytime journeys.

Daytime journeys will not serve the three bus stops on the Davis Road loop and will instead follow the more direct evening route.

11.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday departure from Dartmouth Pontoon will extend to Norton Park.

Service 91 – Dartmouth Park and Ride

Service will operate until September 13 , with a return between October 23 and 25 for the Dartmouth Food Festival, before ending for the 2026 season.

Service 93 will be re-numbered to Service 3, providing a more customer friendly timetable between Plymouth and Dartmouth via Kingsbridge.

Service 93S – Torcross – Kingsbridge

A new Sunday and Public Holiday timetable will be introduced, providing six journeys in each direction, helping ensure Torcross has access to a bus service on these days.

Service 18 – Brixham – Kingswear

Minor timetable changes to improve reliability and punctuality.

Some Monday to Friday and Saturday early morning journeys will now operate with financial support from Devon County Council.

Departure times on Sunday and Public Holidays are amended to better match other days of operation, which also include connections with Service 120.

5.30pm Monday to Friday College Days Only journey from Totnes to Kingsbridge will be re-timed from 5.30pm to leave 10 minutes later at 5.40pm

Service 120 – Paignton – Kingswear will be withdrawn as it is no longer commercially viable.
