A UNIQUE group of musicians playing early instruments including shawms, windcaps, dulcians, sackbuts and recorders are to perform ‘Music from the Time of Shakespeare’ in aid of a local church.

The Toute Ensemble, an early music wind band will be giving a concert at North Huish Church on Saturday, May 21 at 7pm.

The group has brought together various types of popular music from around the time of Shakespeare, likely to have been played at The Globe during the original productions of the Bard’s plays.
