THREE siblings who are former Ivybridge army cadets are giving back by training as instructors in the force.

Twin brothers James and Tom Boyne and their sister Abigale were cadets in the Ivybridge Detachment of the Devon Army Cadet Force.

When they left the force, James, Tom and Abigale wanted to get involved in training and helping the next generation of cadets in the detachment. In November 2015, they were selected for training as instructors, and spent a week at Okehampton Camp developing their knowledge and abilities.

Although the training is extensive, the siblings still find time in their busy lives to attend the Ivybridge Detachment and assist where ever possible.

James is currently under selection for entry to the Sandhurst Military Academy, brother Tom is an apprentice electrical engineer studying for his City & Guilds and NVQ qualifications, and sister Abigale is at Plymouth University working towards a bachelor’s degree in education.
