The A38 is set to reopen after part of the road was closed to fix a gas leak between Ivybridge and Lee Mill.

Wales & West Utilities closed one lane on either side of the carriageway on Monday, causing major delays during rush hour on Tuesday.

The gas company announced it had finished the emergency repairs on Tuesday night.

It said in a statement: "Barring any unforeseen circumstances the road will be fully reopened by 6am on Wednesday morning – in time for the morning rush hour."
