Barbara Lamble is owned by Lidstones Butchers and she wanders out on Tuesdays between 9am and 10am which happens to be when a delivery of meat including turkeys is due.

Lindstones owner Tim Hubbard said: “The children are obsessed by her and often come down to see her.”

Barbara has been the shop’s pet sheep for around 15 years and last year was issued with a parking ticket. Luckily it was only done for a joke. Another year she was covered in police tape.

Tim said: “Watch out for Barbara. You never know where she’s going to turn up next!”
