The play area at MacAndrews Playing Field in Ivybridge remains closed.

We contacted Ivybridge Town Council and were told repairs were discussed at a meeting on February 8.

The field itself is a large open space of approximately two acres off Exeter Road. It was given to the people of Ivybridge by J.J. MacAndrew and was previously managed by the Friends of MacAndrews Field.

It’s not known at this stage when the play area will reopen.
