Ivybridge triathlete and fitness trainer Fin Saunders raced to victory in the Dartington Duathlon on Sunday, March 20, finishing first overall out of more than 100 competitors in a time of one hour and three minutes.
The always-popular race consisted of a 5k run, 20k bike and another 2.5k run.
This was a great start to the season for Fin and a great race to win as a warm-up to racing for Great Britain in the European Championships Duathlon, which takes place in Germany on April 16.
Apart from being an outstanding athlete in his own right, Fin is also head coach for Plymouth Tri Club and was pleased to see how well the club did in this race.
The club claimed first place in three other age categories and had 13 members racing in total.
