Ivybridge U11s Eagles, unbeaten to date in the league needed a win to guarantee their place in the league final.
Having won the toss, Ivybridge chose to bat, and the opening pair got off to a great start.
Wilf Templar put in another good performance with the bat, scoring 15 runs, which ended up being the top score with the bat from Ivybridge.
The second pair also added some valuable runs, with Ollie Garland finishing on eight.
Some good bowling from Josh Cumberland (1-1) and Rohan Kanagasundarum (1-4) helped to keep Ivybridge's total to 255.
Ivybridge got off to a great start in the field, getting a run out in the first over.
Ollie Garland opening the bowling and bowled really well, taking two wickets in his three overs to finish with figures of 2-5.
Wilf Templar, having top scored with the bat, also bowled really well, finishing with 1-4.
By the seventh over Yealmpton had lost five wickets and were on 193.
The third pair batted well, adding 21 runs, of which 18 were scored by Matt Woodlock.
Some good bowling at the end of the innings and some great fielding from Will Stevenson, whose direct hit saw the third run-out of the innings and Yealmpton's sixth wicket fall, meant Ivybridge won the game by 21 runs.
This victorysecured their place in the league final, which will take place on July 20.
