Ivybridge charity Dame Hannahs is calling on supporters to nominate them to win a £1,000 festive financial boost as part of an annual 12 Days of Giving Christmas campaign.
Now into its fifth year, the campaign sees a specialist insurer giving 120 different charities an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation, with 10 winners announced each weekday from December 6 to 21.
Winners will be drawn at random and the more times Dame Hannahs is nominated the more chance it has of being selected. Dame Hannahs is encouraging everyone to use their social media channels to ask people to vote for them to give the charity the best possible chance of winning.
Nominations are open until 20 December and you can vote for Dame Hannahs at www.movementforgood.com/12days and quote Charity Number 1194836 – Dame Hannah Rogers Trust 2019 Ltd.
Dame Hannahs has been enriching the lives of children and young people for over 250 years. One of the UK’s oldest charities, Dame Hannahs is dedicated to empowering young adults with a range of disabilities. We are committed to challenging societal beliefs surrounding disabled people with the aim of making disability incidental.
Their mission is: to empower, advocate and enrich the lives of young adults with disabilities. Their vision is to live in a society where people with disabilities experience the same opportunities, train, learn and live.
They imagine a society that advocates recognition and encourages everyone to fulfil their true potential without judgment or limit: a society where disability is incidental.
